Demonstration practice
When you subscribe, you will also find:
Drill practices, Game practices and Practice at home, as well as more general coaching points ("Secrets").
A demonstration practice with e.g. four players. Used for a short period in order for the players to test how they can maintain various passing distances in attacking play. Attack e.g. in one direction, one attack at a time and swap positions after a while. Finish the attack by rolling the ball into the small goal.
The players practise both short and slightly longer passing distances.
Try attacking with one touch per player per go.
Coaching points (here we call them SECRETS):
  • When your team has the ball, you should maintain various passing distances from the person with the ball
  • Different passing distances provide opportunities for good passing play
  • For example, you need both short and long passing distances in the team to get a good game
  • This means that some players should be near the person with the ball and others further away
  • This is an extremely good example of team thinking and cooperation in a team
  • Learn to recognize what passing distance you should maintain from the person with the ball in various situations
